Abstract

Portland building inspector Sam Hoffses says problems with a dumpster behind Taps on Fore Street owned by real estate magnate Joe Soley have been ongoing. Neihgboring businesses are concerned about the open food bags from the overflowing dumpster that bring rats into the area. Soley blamed the trash company for irregular service, and said the rats are due to the bridge construction.
