Abstract

"North by East." Topsham and Brunswick need to raise $360,000 to repair the Swinging Bridge, one of only two pedestrian river bridges in Maine. Engineer Bob Durfee, who inspected the bridge, says its 1936 repairs need to be updated and 100 to 300 people still use it each day.
