Abstract

Article about the six official Maine Lobster Boat Races, which are held at Boothbay Harbor, Jonesport, Stonington, Harpswell, Winter Harbor and Searsport annually. Most of the racing boats are real working lobsterboats. So-called "non-point" events are also held at Friendship and Pemaquid. With a complete 2002 schedule and spectator's guide.
