Abstract
Article on photographer William Wegman, 60, who summers on Loon Lake in Rangeley with his favorite subjects, his pet weimaraner dogs. Wegman has made a name for himself by photographing portraits of his dogs in unusual poses. A native of Holyoke, Massachusetts, Wegman traveled to the Rangeley area as a fourteen-year-old, and bought a cabin on Loon Lake in 1978.
