Abstract
Profile of the Rev. Rob McCall, 59, a preacher at the First Congregational Church in Blue Hill, who has come to be seen by many as the town's conscience for his vocal, sometimes controversial, advocacy for environmental responsibility and social justice. McCall, a Harvard graduate, hosts a weekly radio commentary on his local community radio station, WERU-FM, and his column, "Awanadjo Almanack" appears in the local weekly newspaper. The First Congregational Church is renowned for its association some 200 years ago with another Harvard graduate, Jonathan Fisher.
