Abstract

"North by East" piece on the Belgrade Regional Health Center, which as part of a bequest from a descendant of the playwright, owns 3.35 percent of the worldwide rights to the musical, "No, No, Nanette." It is said that Babe Ruth was sold to the New York Yankees in 1920 by Boston Red Sox owner Harry Frazee to underwrite production of the play, bringing on the "Curse of the Bambino." The Sox have not won a World Series since.
