Article containg advice to those who would own and operate a bed-and-breafast (B&B) in Maine. Owners or former owners of B&Bs offering insight and advice include: Robert Sally Tierney, founders of the Maine Stay in Camden; Peter and Donny Smith, and her sister, Diana Robston, current owners of the Maine Stay; Ken and Abigail Stern of the Hawthorn Inn in Camden; Eva and Jack Downs of the Inn on South Street in Kennebunkport; David and Estelle Holloway of the Captain Brewer House in Robbinston; Jim and Jackie Lovejoy of Hiram Alden Inn in Belfast; and John and Jett Peterson of Weston House in Eastport.
