Abstract

Article profiles Joy Sprague, postmaster of Little Cranberry Island. She has received special praise from the U. S. Postmaster General for her marketing of the Postal Service's Express Mail overnight and special delivery service. Mrs. Sprague gives away a plate of her homemade cream puffs to every twenty-fifth Express Mail customer. Sprague has brought a personal touch to all her duties in the post office. She's instituted a very successful stamps-by-mail program.
