Abstract
"The Talk of Camden" piece about the century-old Boynton-McKay Drug Company on Main Street, which has remained largely unchanged despite the many changes taking place elsewhere in town. The pharmacy, run by pharmacist-proprietor Sam Jones, retains its curly-maple floor-to-ceiling cabinets that were crafted by shipwrights at the local boatyard 101 year ago, its original tile floor and tin ceiling, and its eye-catching white-glass soda fountain. Owner Sam Jones, who bought the pharmacy in 1980, is a native of Lincolnville with a knack for getting along with people.
