Abstract

"Along the Waterfront" piece briefly reporting that 40-foot cruising sailboats, designed by Chuck Paine and built by Morris Yachts in Southwest Harbor, were sold before even being advertised. Surprisingly, both were purchased by Vinalhaveners and will be moored within 300 yards of each other in the Fox Island Thorofare. Morris has orders to build a 36 footer and a 40-footer this winter, both to be designed by Paine, who has offices in Camden.
