    Abstract

Article about Route 201 between Solon and Jackman, which is described as being one of Maine's most beautiful roads in Maine, particularly in the autumn. Forestry is still the dominant industry along the road, but cutbacks at S. D. Warren, one of the primary employers, have eroded what were once safe careers in the woods, and S. D. Warren, now owned by Scott Paper Co. Scott Paper has announced that it wants to sell the company and its 900,000 acres of land in the Bingham-Jackman region, making the people who drive 201 everyday wonder what the future holds.
