Abstract

"Along the Waterfront" piece on PACT 95, the Maine-based America's Cup team that was squeezed out in the finals for the America's Cup defense last spring, noting that they have returned New England determined to try again next time, probably under the new name of PACT 2000, based on the anticipated date of the next international round. Meanwhile, the PACT 95 training vessel, "Spirit of Unum," is engaged in promotional sails out of South Portland.
