Abstract

"North by East" piece on Pemaquid Point in Bristol, where thrillseekers go to watch the gigantic waves kicked up by storms. Town officials, who say 11 people got washed off the rocks last year, have begun fencing off the most exposed areas. Three people have died there in the past 15 years.
