Abstract

"Inside Maine" piece on Troop's Variety in Pittston, owned by Barb and Pete Kaiser, which besides being a general store also has a first-rate German bakery. Pete Kaiser, 58, immigrated to this country in 1951 and has been baking up fine breads pastries ever since, to the delight of Russian expatriates in nearby Richmond.
