Abstract

"Along the Waterfront" piece about administrative changes being made at the Landing School of Boatbuilding and Design at Kennebunkport. Founder John Burgess has taken the role of president in order to focus on the role of recruiting, fund raising, boat sales, and industry relations, while Richard Parisen, a long-time trustee, will take over as director. Walter Wales, who formerly ran the yacht design program at Maine Maritime Academy and taught at the University of Maine, has been named design program manager.
