Abstract

An article on the warblers that return to Mount Desert Island each spring and the Warblers and Wildflowers Festival held in Bar Harbor in May. Naturalist Michael Good originated the festival as a celebration of the birds' return and to introduce people to the complex environmental issues regarding development and land use, and the impact they have on these bird populations. With a description of a birding walk led by Good.
