    Abstract

    "North by East" piece on Borealis Breads, formerly known as Bodacious Breads. Owner Jim Amaral awarded two customers a year's supply of his loaves for coming up with a new name for the Waldoboro bakery. Amaral changed the name after discovering that a California franchise bakery chain held the trademark to Bodacious Breads. Amaral opened a second bakery in Wells in February.
