Abstract
An article on five hiking trails in Acadia National Park: Great Head Trail, which has views of Sand Beach and is one of the highest headlands on the East Coast; Perpendicular Trail on Mansell Mountain overlooking Long Pond; Acadia Mountain Trail, which has views of Somes Sound and Echo Lake; the South Ridge Trail up Cadillac Mountain; and the Penobscot Mountain Trail, with views of Jordan Pond and the Cranberry Isles.
