Abstract
"Inside Maine" piece on South Portland's Greenbelt Walkway, a three-mile paved path that threads through several neighborhoods on the shore side of the city, skirting the harbor for most of the way. Add the Spring Point Shoreway, another mile-long waterfront walking trail, and the route goes all the way out to Fisherman's Point. There are plans to have the greenway connect to every athletic field in town and eventually to link South Portland to the East Coast Greenway.
