Abstract

"Dining Down East" piece on Hurricane Restaurant in Kennebunkport's Dock Square, owned by Luanne and Brooks MacDonald. They also own the original Hurricane at Perkins Cove in Ogunquit and have recently opened the Port Bakery and Cafe by Hurricane, which supplies both restaurants from its Kennebunk location. Executive chef Adam White oversees the food operations of all three restaurants. The chef de cuisine in Kennebunkport is Jason Leighton, a graduate of the New England Culinary Institute.
