Abstract
During the last week in July, the Augusta Civic Center will house "Maine Quilts 2004," an annual exhibition put together by the 2,000 members of the Pine Tree Quilters Guild. One quilt, "Twisted Tulips," by Barbara Barbour of Trevett, took 12 years to complete, and won first place at the 2003 show. Workshops are scheduled throughout the show, and some people come for the whole weekend. With a history of the guild.
