Abstract
"The Talk of Camden" piece. Landmark French & Brawn grocery supplies customers with everything from Chilean sea bass to salt pork, and owner Todd Anderson and general manager Chuck Brawn deliver groceries to housebound customers. Authors, artists, CEOs, and others of means have retired to the vibrant year-round community. The grocery draws both local people and tourists. The late William Brawn's generous spirit still resonates, and four employees have worked in the store for more than two decades. A few customers spend more than $10,000 yearly on special-order wines, and for $5 the store will deliver an order to a yacht in the harbor.
