Abstract

Fred Moon removed a home on his Cushing property and built a summer home farther back, to fulfill a condition of the sale. The former owner, his next-door neighbor, wanted to improve his own view. Belfast architect Dominic Mercadante designed the home with its many-angled roof, and Jay Fisher of Cold Mountain Builders of Belfast built it. The interior space was kept compact and simple, as Moon, a boat lover, wanted it.
