Abstract

"North by East" piece on the unintended benefits to Maine of the four hurricanes that hit Florida this autumn. Besides the benefit to lumber mills, Lewiston-based Marden's Surplus and Salvage has acquired a lot of "storm damaged" goods to resell, most of it in good condition.
