Abstract

"North by East" piece on Howard Simonton of Rockport, who was able to persuade all 25 of his relatives who shared ownership of nine acres of land in Camden to sign over their interest in the Ragged Mountain property to the Coastal Mountains Land Trust, thus safeguarding the unspoiled summit of Ragged and neighboring Bald Mountain.
