Abstract
As taxes have increased on the Maine coast, more homeowners are renting their homes out for all or part of the summer. Others do it for a change of pace. Early preparation is crucial, since homes are reserved from January through March. Audrey Miller of East Boothbay created Cottage Connection of Maine Inc. and now oversees the summer rental of 130 homes, including her own.
