Abstract
Profile of "Tomato Lady" Amy LeBlanc, of Whitehill Farm in Wilton, who grows more than 300 varieties of organic tomatoes, which she sells at the Sandy River Farmer's Market in Farmington. For ten days a year, customers from all over travel to the farm to pick up the often-rare plants they have ordered, and which she never ships. Her first customers were the families of her music students. Teaching string instruments is a parallel passion of hers. She likes to convert people to heirloom tomatoes, but always on her own terms, and she prides herself on her exclusivity.
