Abstract
Since 1985, the annual 180-mile Trek Across Maine has raised more than $11 million for the American Lung Association of Maine. Participants value the camaraderie that develops on the Bethel-to-Rockland tour, which takes place on Father's Day weekend. Riders spend one night each at the University of Maine at Farmington and Colby College in Waterville. From a small beginning, the tour has grown into a tightly choreographed event with many repeat riders. With details on some of the teams and the riders.
