    Abstract

    "North by East" piece on the town of Montville's forthcoming Comprehensive Plan, which proposes to ban genetically modified organisms (GMOs)-- plants whose DNA has been transfigured. The proposal, if approved by the state and Montville residents, would be the first such absolute ban in Maine.
