Abstract
Profile of Stephen Zeh, 54, of Temple, a Pennsylvania native and former fur trapper whose handmade baskets sell for thousands of dollars to art collectors. He began by making pack baskets for fur trapping when the ones he bought fell apart, and ended by becoming one of America's premier basket makers. His teacher was Eddie Newell, a Penobscot Indian.
