Abstract
An article on the growing trend of eating locally, which has been picked up by everyone from four-star chefs to shoppers at farmer's markets. Despite the popularity of locally-grown food, Maine farmers receive less than 4 percent of the $3 billion spent by Mainers on food each year. In many cases, demand outstrips supply.
