    Abstract

    "North by East" piece on the fate of Pluto in the Maine Solar System Model, created by Kevin McCartney, a geology professor at the University of Maine at Presque Isle. Although Pluto was downgraded to a dwarf planet, the original model of Pluto and its moon have been kept. In addition, models of two dwarf planets, Ceres and Eris, have been added.
