Abstract

Spurred by Scotsman Andrew Stewart's revival of the Hope General Store, the sleepy town has seen the influx of craftspeople, a tavern, a carpentry shop, and a farmer. Townspeople mingle at Stewart's convivial gathering spot, and Hope now boasts a jazz festival, a children's carnival, and a triathlon.
