Abstract
Camp Sunshine in Casco, a year-round retreat for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families, was founded in 1984 by Larry and Anna Gould, who own nearby Point Sebago Resort. Since then, it has provided services to more than 25,000 ill children, their siblings, and parents. Campers meet people dealing with the same issues and develop supportive relationships that continue after they return home.
