Abstract
Across Frenchman's Bay from Bar Harbor lies Schoodic Peninsula, a 2,366-acre section of Acadia National Park made up of Winter Harbor and Gouldsboro and home to one of the last Down East fishing communities. Jeff Alley, who lobsters from Prospect Harbor with his son, Jeff Jr., is a fourth-generation lobsterman.
