Abstract

Review of the art exhibit at Bowdoin College Museum of Art, "William Wegman: Hello Nature." While the works themselves provoked laugh-out-loud responses from viewers at the time of the reviewer's visit, the theme of the show is a serious one, focusing on the artist's ties to Maine and to nature, and specifically to the Rangeley Lakes region where the artist has summered for the past thirty years.
