Abstract

"Talk of Maine" piece about Lucas St. Clair, 35, avid outdoorsman, who is advocating for a national park in northern Maine and trying to change the minds of people who were alienated by his mother, Roxanne Quimby. St. Clair has tried to actively listen to the people who would be affected by a park, and has won admirers for his softer approach. Article includes a brief synopsis of St. Clair’s current vision for the park.
