Abstract
While April can be late for starting some plants from seed for the coming year’s garden, there are a number of plants that can be successfully started from seed at this time such as flowers and herbs that can be sown directly into the ground, perennials and biennials that can be sown late and will bloom the following year, uncommon plants that only can be grown from seed, and plants that are easy-to-grow. Tips for starting garden plants from seed are presented as well as companies seeds can be ordered from.
