Abstract

Cincinnati’s retired real estate broker, Robert Off, inspired by Maine and its artistic history, has created several museum quality miniature room boxes, including Winslow Homer’s art studio and the living room of a home in Castine where Fritz Hugh Lane stayed and which may have inspired Lane’s painting, The Old Homestead. The scale of the models is 1 inch : 1 foot. Off is associated with the International Guild of Miniature Artists who will be displaying their work in the Maine Maritime Academy student center in Castine June 14-18, 2015. [image]
