Abstract

Dead Poet Society founder and poet Walter Skold has a mission to visit as many poets’ graves as possible. In this article he is interviewed about what he has learned from doing so. He recommends readers visit the graves of Robert Tristam Coffin in Harpswell, Wilbert Snow in South Thomaston, Celia Thaxter on Appledore Island, and E.B. White in Brooklin to see for themselves what the experience can be like.
