Abstract

"Inside Maine." The Skidompha Public Library in Damariscotta received a $550,000 donation from author-illustrator Barbara Cooney Porter on condition that it remain downtown. With the donation, the library will buy a neighboring building and undertake a $1.5 million fund-raising campaign this spring.
