Abstract

ZamZam Mohamud immigrated from Somalia to the United States in 2000. She came to Lewiston in 2001, with her two small children and has immersed herself in the community. The article features the work she does, how she is relied upon by both the city's Somalian community and Maine-borne community, and her outlook on being a citizen here. [images]
