Abstract
The beginnings of Gifford's Famous Ice Cream date back to the late 19th century in Connecticut. Today it is run by the Gifford family's fifth generation and sells ice cream from Maine to South Carolina and as far west as Nevada. A history of the business and plans for growth are described in the article.[images]
