Abstract
Down East editors seeded an online tournament bracket consisting of their sixteen favorite Maine towns to live in based upon population, home prices,median income, good food, drink and outdoor recreation facilities, and median age. Readers voted via downeast.com. The top eight towns are featured including the reader's pick. The top winner was Rockland, , followed by Blue Hill, Dover-Foxcroft, Portland, Harpswell, Bangor, Unity and Freeport.
