Abstract

Bob Trapani Jr.. is the director of the American Lighthouse Foundation in Owlshead, whose mission is dedicated to the preservation of historic lighthouses. While many argue lighthouses are relics of the past, Trapani makes an argument for why they are still relevant today. He also supports using newer technologies, such as LED lights, as the light source. While lighthouse purists are against this, he believes the efficiency and dependability of the new technology outweighs the arguments for using the traditional means. [image]
