Abstract
Jensen Bissell, director of Baxter State Park, shares thoughts about his efforts to keep the park from changing adversely. Concerns about the swelling numbers of Appalachian Trail thru-hikers and media events have caused limits to be imposed on the numbers of hikers allowed in the park.
