Abstract
Maine State Prison warden Randall Liberty is featured for the changes he has brought to the prision. Overcoming poverty through the military led to his career in criminal justice and he helps the prisoners overcome recidivism with his programs aimed at recovery from addiction and providing a reason to wake up with a purpose. Reducing costs by providing a prison garden helps the prisoners and the communities by providing fresh-grown produce and lowering costs for food and trash. [Images]
