    Abstract

    "North by East." Several groups from the Maine Aviation Historical Society will search the north woods for the French biplane l'Oiseau Blanc, or White Bird, which they say crossed the Atlantic two weeks ahead of Charles Lindberg. The crashed plane was seen on Big Spruce Mountain during World War II.
