Abstract
Charleston- Convicted murderer Arnold Nash escaped Mountain View Correctional Facility for five days. This was the third time and the third correctional facility he has escaped. Southwest Harbor- Charlotte Gill, owner of Charlotte's Legendary Lobster pound uses marijuana to sedate lobsters before cooking them. Bowdoin- Unicorn root, a once eradicated plant, has returned to Maine in a private field. Waterville- Bolley's Famous Franks switched the type of french fries it produces creating a backlash and even international interest. Alna- A 30 ton covered bridge, originally located near Gorham, NH was moved to Alna to be incorporated as part of the Wiscasset, Waterville & Farmington Railway Museum. Scarborough- An unmanned five foot sailboat owned by the Scarborough School Department made a second Atlantic crossing and washed up on the shore in Sussex, England.
