Abstract

Profile of father-son artists Philip and Matt Barter who created an installation in Matt Barter's Brunswick gallery. The installation, called Cantown, is an homage to Maine's coastal sardine factories and small town mom-and-pop stores. The show features groceries made out of wood and paint, as well as paintings and reliefs that depict the sardine-canning industry.
